Education and Training
Dr Suut graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 2007. His Radiology training was in Manchester and he was admitted as Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) in 2014.
Clinical
Dr Suut is a substantive Consultant Radiologist (Diagnostic and Interventional Uroradiology) at Salford Royal. His main specialties are in endourological, general/complex benign and oncological Urological imaging. He is a core member of all the Urological multi-disciplinary meetings. His main interest is in multiparametric MR imaging (mpMRI) of the prostate and urinary bladder.
Formerly the Interventional Radiology lead, Dr Suut performs a wide range of non-vascular interventional procedures (NVIR) including specialist endourological procedures such as percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) and combined Uro-Radiological rendezvous cases.
Management
Dr Suut is a Clinical Radiology Advisory Appointment Committee (AAC) representative. Previously he was Clinical Director of Radiology, Undergraduate Radiology Lead and Radiology Trust Specialty Training Lead.
Teaching and Research
Dr Suut is an experienced examiner at Manchester Medical School and has taught at the North West School of Radiology Academy. He is currently a Clinical/Educational Supervisor to Radiology trainees and a Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Manchester. He is keen on research and has authored many publications as well as oral and poster presentations.
